The richness and prosperity of the numerous natural pastures of the Tavoliere di Puglia have for centuries distinguished this area as one of the most fruitful for sheep farming.

This important awareness gave rise to a winning idea: to create an ideal map and a virtuous network of quality farms, characterized by selected fodder, excellent health and hygiene standards, and a precise territoriality.

The Tradition of Fresh Milk

A tribute to a small but great man, Grandfather Erasmo.

In 1950, Erasmo, then just thirty years old, was a small farmer in Alta Murgia, passionate and devoted to his 100 cattle. His love for his work, the generous care he gave to each of his animals, and his careful selection of natural fodder earned Grandfather Erasmo numerous awards and prizes, distinguishing his farm as one of the best cattle farms in the whole of Apulia. Over time, his passion and love for this noble work also rubbed off on his young son Antonio, who decided to undertake the necessary studies to become a livestock selector. Since then, the history of the family business has been a continuous crescendo of satisfaction and recognition, which has led the new generation to remain increasingly faithful to Grandfather Erasmo’s mission.
